Discount Organic Shampoo Benefits
When we compare regular shampoo with discount organic shampoo, we can see that there are in fact some potential benefits to using the latter. Opponents may argue that the claimed negative effects of conventional shampoo have not been proven. This is true to a point. But the fact of the matter is that even if something has not yet been proven to be harmful, this does not mean that it isn’t. As you can see, some of the points make good sense on an instinctual level. Organic is not just about the benefits to us as consumers but to the wider environment. Animals certainly benefit, or at least do not suffer, in the development of these products. The high quantities of vegetarian ingredients and reduced synthetic ingredient components is welcome. But the question many people are asking is how exactly do they benefit us?

If we examine some of the properties of the so called harmful components of conventional shampoos, we may be able to see where the benefit of the organic products lie. What exactly are phthalates, parabens and sodium laureth sulfate?
All three of these chemicals are either proven to be harmful in some way or suspected of being harmful to human health. Phthalates cause birth defects in lab rats. Parabens have been found in breast cancer tumors. However no causal link has been established. Sodium laureth sulfate is a known skin irritant that causes discomfort for some people.
So while the negative side of these chemicals is yet to be shown conclusively to be harmful. The indications are that they are not too good. So now that we have organic alternatives available, doesn’t it make more sense to use them?
