How to stream NASCAR

All NASCAR races across all networks (FOX, FS1, NBC and USA) can be streamed through the following services: Fubo, DIRECTV STREAM, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV, or through traditional cable options like Xfinity. Races on cable (USA, FS1) can also be streamed with Sling Blue, but that service does not have local channels. Some NBC races may also available to stream with Peacock.

NASCAR’s television future

This season marks the end of the current NASCAR media rights deals. Starting next season (2025), Cup Series broadcasters FOX and NBC will be joined TNT — airing NASCAR for the first time since 2014 — and newcomer Amazon Prime Video. In addition, the entire Xfinity Series will move to the Nexstar-owned “netlet” The CW.

For additional motorsports schedules, see the following pages: IndyCar, Formula 1.

  1. BirdWatch says:

welp changed the date for the start of the season but not the finale also to add cw to the last 8 events for the season

no need to reply back but just thought I should say that

  2. Flooper says:

you have the wrong dates at the top for the clash and season finale from phoenix as well

  3. BadBrad says:

sure you have seen and heard but the cw has the last eight events in the xfinity series for the 2024 season for the record

  4. Wyatt Smith says:

Hey Paulson, just wondering will peacock stream all of USA network races or just NBC races? (If not then will they be able to when the new agreement begins?)

    • Jon Lewis says:

Occurs to me that I’m not even sure Peacock is streaming all of the NBC races. So I’ve amended the sentence about that.

      • Wyatt Smith says:

Well with peacock premium you get select races, but if you upgrade to the premium plus plan (premium ad free) it includes live local NBC station included with that cost so if you were talking about that then yes but otherwise it should be selected races only

  5. Cathy says:

DISH and Fox are fighting in the sandbox like toddlers. Dish doesn’t air Fox, so no NASCAR here. Yet Dish advertises that all of their customers can watch Fox. Haven’t had Fox for months now. Yet it’s listed as a channel you get. So I pay for something I really don’t get. And not NBC Sports either. I have never missed THE Daytona 500 in 45 yrs. Til we moved to the country and have only Dish or Direct for service.

    • Paulsen says:

It’s an expense, but if you can afford it get an antenna (a real antenna — rooftop if you can). Beyond not having to deal with cable/satellite/streaming providers, the picture quality is often better now.

      • Jeff Thron says:

        That’s how I get it !!!

      • Wyatt Smith says:

To me cable is just almost dead and it’s not worth to get anymore, broadcast television is about all we need based on the streaming services everything is going

        • Adams says:

Fire stick YouTube watch 3 days later at your on pace don’t have to sit thare for 4 hs to watch it rewind or pose works good for me all you Nead is internet 57 a month

    • Casey from Minnesota says:

Cathy I really feel awful for you because my mother and father are in their mid 80s and they watch NASCAR and NFL the prices for them to watch just those are so ridiculous and will be more next year my prayers to you 💞

  6. Wyatt says:

Hey Paulson just curious on this, is Peacock airing all games in the NBC sports portion of the season or no it only airs NBC games in its portion of the season?

  7. Eddie says:

NBC is NFL preseason game is impacted Nascar race dayona.
What the options to watched the race. It happen 2017 when NBC local station didn’t air the race due NFL preseason. Here a link for more details.

    • Paulsen says:

Thanks for the heads-up. Should be a lot of angry NASCAR fans Saturday. I’ll try to update the post with alternative viewing options.

  8. Wyatt says:

Paulson do you have a reason for separating nascar away from all the other Motorsports schedules? Like i don’t get why you did it?

  9. Wyatt says:

Hey Paulson today’s nascar race is at 3:30 pm e.t. not 4:30 pm e.t. network remains on nbc

  10. Wyatt says:

Hey should the arca series on August 29th be on a fox sports network not nbc?

  11. Wyatt says:

And also i checked the indy car series official site which is https://www.indycar.com/schedule and the site said that road America race 1 is at 5 pm e.t. Not 12:50 pm e.t.

  12. Wyatt says:

Hey i looked at the listings recently and they say that the indy car series at road America is going to be on both nbc and nbcsn because nbc gets the Sunday race and nbcsn gets the Saturday one

  13. Wyatt says:

    Is this right or wrong
The indy car series at texas and indy are on nbc not on nbcsn on 6/6 and 7/4?

  14. Steve says:

How come when there is a race f1 or Gran Prix scheduled sometimes another tipe of sports overlaps the race and the race is half shown and not stop the other spots and start the race from the start because record the race on my DVR play it and I get very upset because the race is not all there most sports have there own station so why they don’t switch to there own station so all the people that like the races can see the hole race I don’t like surprises I wish that you could fix this and be more considerate to show the race on time . Thanks

  15. Wyatt says:

Since the Olympics are postponed do you think the races from 7/23-8/09 will move back to nbcsn from cnbc?

  16. Wyatt says:

Ah is this page updated because i thought all races up to may 22nd are postponed

  17. Wyatt says:

Nascar says that all races up to may 3rd are postponed

  18. Jack Church says:

Would it be possible to put IMSA on this schedule?

  19. Richard Crane says:

Why don’t we get to see practice most of the time

    • Paulsen says:

I don’t include the practice telecasts in this listing, only the main races.

  20. Wyatt says:

Is there anymore races after today for this year?

  21. Wyatt says:

    Here’s a f1 race
Nov 3 rd United States GP 1:30pm e.t.
    race on abc

Thanks for the reminder. ESPN had only published the first half schedule when I last updated this page. I’ll add the remainder.

  25. Jim says:

Is the autosports calendar available in CSV or Google Calendar format?

  26. Mike says:

fyi: I waited a few days, but May20 is Sunday, not 2 SATs in a row…

  27. Kyle says:

I think you have the China and Bahrain GPs flipped.

    • Paulsen says:

Thanks for the heads-up. Fixed that and a few other F1 times/nets.

There must be few ice cubes doing pretty well deep downstairs for NASCAR to hand any portion of control back to the teams; and allowing free rear ride height is a HUGE step in a positive direction. This IS the same NASCAR that showed their thoughts on teams attempting to act on their own with tandem racing by first immediately implementing measures to force the trailing car to over heat. When the teams continued their very brief stand of defiance by having the trailing car stagger for fresh air, NASCAR forced that weird mid-bumper hump that would slingshot the trailing car into the wall…at 190mph+ effectively endangering driver’s lives….forever ending the attempt at self determination. Until now. So, anyways, nice to see the rears back on the ground where they belong, but feel there is a punchline coming or something.

Sky Sports will hopefully be gone after a couple seasons. I wanted to get their coverage of F1 practice and qualifying on my desktop, which they imply is no problem…@$29mo. But that’s just the first mo, after it depends on the bundle that you have no choice in getting, including replacing my cable bundle that does my internet, @ a min of $66mo and goes way, way up from there. Of course they have the 1990s satellite scam of 2 TVs for one box…IF you pay a fee that also jumps 2nd mo AND they have to watch what you watch lol! Gee that’s great…$2.00 splitter does the same thing…morons. They make it seem as though you can just stream the coverage…but the closer you get to checkout, you find that even streaming requires replacing your services DESPITE BEING TOLD SEVERAL TIMES UP TO THAT POINT THAT YOU DO NOT. Greedy punks…practice and qualifying were like events, getting up at 3:00am…although I see that would change under the new start times no matter what, it’s not the time I care about, it’s losing the extra coverage.

  30. Mike says:

    nice summary, tho no practice/quals

  31. noah says:

NASCAR Sprint Cup Darlington 500 i though that race was on NBC why the change?

    • Paulsen says:

NBC decided to air other races instead (Brickyard, fall Talladega, etc.)

  32. chris says:

Responding to the airing of NASCAR Races on cable(FS1 and NBSSN) it looks like NASCAR is going back to the 90’s when all the races were mostly on cable. Back then you had to have ESPN or the long defunct TNN to watch most of the races.

As far as ABC goes I can’t remember the last time a NASCAR Race was on ABC.

    • NaBUru38 says:

ABC had 11 Nascar Cup races in 2007 and 2008, then 9 in 2009, and 3 from 2010 to 2012 (Bristol, Richmond and Charlotte).

  33. Jeff Magill says:

    Love the racing

  34. Shane K. says:

NBC is a joke. Not all can afford cable on this planet. Most of there brodcastings for NASCAR are on NBCSN plain stupid because they are now and will keep losing spectators. It has been on one or more of the major networks f9r years ABC, NBC, CBS, OR FOX. And it should stay that way for those who cannot afford an extra bill ever month. Hating on NBC right now…..

  35. noah says:

    ABC hardly gets any!
