This year's US Tennis Open will attract a record crowd of ticket holders when the world's top tennis players compete in New York City. In 2024, the US Tennis Open runs from Monday, August 26 to the finals on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 - 8, 2024.

Individual tickets for the 2024 US Open go on sale to the general public in mid-June. Several days prior, American Express Card members will have an opportunity to score tickets before they become available to the general public.

Where to buy US Tennis Open tickets

  • at all Ticketmaster outlets

  • at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center box office in New York City.

The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center ticket box office hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The box office is closed Sundays and July 4.


US Tennis Open ticket prices

US Open individual ticket prices usually range from $40 upwards to several hundred dollars. (NOTE: show up at the stadium box office and last minute sales can drop to $6 per ticket for some matches.) That said, online reseller prices can skyrocket into the thousands of dollars per ticket for the final championship games.

US Tennis Open grounds admission tickets

For a cheaper day at the Open, the Grounds Pass or Grounds Admission tickets are usually available during the first week of the tournament.

While Grounds Admission won't gain you access to the main venue at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, it does provide even more up-close views of professional tennis matches held in the Grandstand, the field courts, and sections of the Louis Armstrong Stadium.

Except for special reserved box seats, the majority of tickets are sold on a first-come first-served basis.


Getting to the Open

From Long Island, the LIRR Woodside station also provides an easy transfer to the 7 train and Mets - Willets Point Station. New Jersey transit customers can change at Penn Station for quick connections to the NYC subway and the 7 train.

BY CAR: Depending on where your trip originates, use the Van Wyck Expressway and Exit 12A - College Point Blvd OR the Long Island Expressway (LIE/I-495) and Exit 22B – College Point Blvd.
