The US Open will have extra oomph this year as it appears to be marking the end of Serena Williams' legendary tennis career, or at least her Grand Slam career. Williams, who has won 23 Grand Slams titles dating to the 1998 Australian Open, will be 41 at the end of September.

Betting favorites at the US Open, according to Sports Interaction, are Iga Swiatek (+293), Simona Halep (+593) and Naomi Osaka (+1100). This will be Swiatek's fourth US Open appearance; she was eliminated in the fourth round in 2021. This year, she has won the French Open, defeating Coco Gauff, and reached the semifinals of the Australian Open.

The US Open will be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, Aug. 29 through Sep. 11. If you're looking to attend the event in person, here is what ticket prices are looking like for.

How much are US Open tickets in 2022?

Naturally, a big part of pricing will be when you're looking to go and who you want to watch. Round 1 pricing will ne less expensive than going to see the finals.

According to TicketSmarter, a Monday admission grounds pass for the first round starts at $146, while a ticket to the men's final at Arthur Ashe Stadium will start around $290.

At their most expensive, courtside tickets to the men's final could run up to $16,200, while courtside tickets to the women's final will run around $8,100. If Williams makes any kind of miracle run, those prices will, obviously, increase drastically.
