* Due to sanctions for doping, Russia was banned from competing in 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. Its athletes will compete under the acronym “ROC” (Russian Olympic Committee) in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. In 2018, athletes from Russia competed under the acronym 'OAR', which stands for "Olympic Athlete from Russia."
