First held in 1960, the Par-3 tournament is now a staple of The Masters calendar and the varied field consists of  pros and noncompeting past champions.

There have been 80 holes-in-one made over the years, including a record five in 2002.

What is the curse of The Masters par-3 contest?

FAMOUSLY no winner of the contest has ever gone on to triumph in the Masters the same year.

It's a run that now stretches 57 years and counting.

What time does it start?

THE 2018 Par-3 tournament gets going on Wednesday, April 4.

It will begin at 5pm UK time (12pm local time).

The holes, ranging from 70 to 140 yards, play over obstacles including DeSoto Springs Pond and Ike's Pond.

Throughout the day, the field will wind their way around a short, nine-hole layout nestled in the northeast corner of Augusta National.

What TV channel is it on and can I live stream it?

The Masters Par-3 tournament will not be shown live on UK television.

But there will be a live stream on masters.com from 8pm (3pm local time).
