Masters tee times 2022, day 3: UK start time, schedule, TV channel, and when to watch Tiger Woods at Augusta

Everything you need to know on 'moving day' at the Masters

It’s moving day at the Masters 2022 and there will have to be some serious manoeuvring on the leaderboard if anyone is to stop Scottie Scheffler claiming the green jacket.

The world No 1 has matched the biggest ever lead heading into a Saturday at Augusta after a stunning 67 in difficult conditions on Friday propelled him to a score of eight under par.

The nearest challengers are 2011 champion Charl Schwarztel, day one leader Sungjae Im, Ireland’s Shane Lowry and defending champion Hideki Matsuyama (all -3).

Tiger Woods (+1) is still in the hunt too after finishing one over par thanks to a battling 74. Other danger men include Dustin Johnson (-2), Cameron Smith (-2), Collin Morikawa (-1) and Justin Thomas (-1).

Groups to watch on Saturday

7:50pm: Light the fire, pour yourself a glass of something and see if Scottie Scheffler can hold on to a five-shot lead at the Masters. Scheffler is out in the last group with 2011 champion Charl Schwartzel who, incidentally, lists big game hunting among his hobbies.

7:40pm: Shane Lowry carries the torch for Europe alongside first-round leader Sungjae Im.

6:50pm: Danny Willett was five behind going into the back nine on Sunday when he won here in 2016. Hell, he has two days to erase the seven-shot deficit to Scheffler and starts the chase alongside Joaquin Niemann.

More from Golf

6pm: Tiger Woods watch continues with Kevin Kisner taking a turn in the Woods goldfish bowl.

5:20pm: A treat for Sepp Straka to have Rory McIlroy for company around Augusta on a Saturday, less so to be 10 shots back.
