Masters Par 3 Tournament Tickets

Masters Par-3 Tournament Tickets Information

The Masters Par 3 tournament, held on the Wednesday of Tournament week, has become a big part of the tournament itself, for both the competitors and spectators. The Masters is the most prestigious golf tournament in the world, taking place every April in Augusta, GA., at the Augusta National Golf Club. The first Par-3 tournament was played two years later, and has been played every year since on the Wednesday before the Masters. The tournament is open to all participants of that year’s Masters tournament, as well as past champions and anyone specially invited to play.

Padraig Harrington leads the pack by winning the tournament three times – 2003, 2004, and 2012. Famously, no player has ever won the Par-3 tournament and the Masters in the same year, something that is bound to change sooner rather than later. The record for most holes-in-one in one year is 2002 where there were five made. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Masters Par 3 Tournament tickets.

Also finishing in the Top 10 were Ernie Els, Nick Faldo and Jason Day. Nick Watney scored an ace on No. 9, while two-time Masters winner Ben Crenshaw nailed a hole-in-one on No. 7.

The Masters Par-3 Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club: Address: 2604 Washington Rd, Augusta, Georgia, 30904. Despite little interest from many members of the Augusta Golf Club, Augusta National Chairman Clifford Roberts designed and added the Par-3 Course to the grounds in 1958 with help from George Cobb. Pre-conceived by many as a "Tom Thumb course", the nine-hole course located in the north-east corner of the Augusta National Golf Club has become such a popular event because of this notion. With holes all ranging from 70 to 140 yards the Par-3 Tournament course has been home to 75 holes-in-one since the first tournament, allowing many golf fans to bare witness to one of the most exciting feats in golf.
