The Super Bowl is one of the biggest events in the sporting calendar, and sports fans across the globe are counting down the hours until the 56th edition gets underway on Saturday evening.

The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Cincinnati Bengals as both sides look to secure the crown for the NFL season for 2021/22.

The Rams will make the short trip to their SoFi Stadium for what promises to be a memorable night in Los Angeles.

The action-packed evening will also feature the world-famous Super Bowl halftime show, which promises to be unmissable once again this year.

This year, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will take to the stage at half-time to perform altogether, a quintet with over 40 Grammy awards between them.

What time does the Super Bowl begin?

This year's Super Bowl will kick off at 18:30 ET and 15:30 PT for viewers in the US, which is 23:30 GMT for viewers in the UK.

The first half is set to last for 90 minutes, meaning that the half-time show should start at around 8pm ET and 17:00 PT, which is 01:00 GMT.
