Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith looked as dashing and dramatic as ever while walking the Oscars 2022 red carpet.
On Sunday, March 27, the “Magic Mike XXL” star turned heads in a glamorous emerald green Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown that only arrived Saturday, according to E!, which also dubbed the look “scuba couture.”

Pinkett Smith’s look featured an over-the-top train that appeared difficult to walk in — and even needed to be trimmed down before the big night.
In order to step into the dress, the actress had to utilize the hidden clasps running down the front of the design.
Pinkett Smith matched her manicure to her couture for the night, sporting nude nails with green stripes, and accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and diamond earrings from G Jewels.

The 50-year-old star walked the red carpet alongside husband Will Smith, 53, who wore a black Dolce & Gabbana tux and matching vest, with jewels on his tie courtesy of Cartier.
Smith, who’s nominated for Best Actor for his performance in “King Richard,” was styled by Fawn and debuted his attire ahead of the show with an Instagram Reel.
The couple often chooses to coordinate on the red carpet, having matched in navy blue at the 2022 SAG Awards. Pinkett Smith didn’t have to look far for that red carpet gown, as she found the vintage number in her own closet.

They’ve also matched at the Oscars. In 1997, both wore green, with Pinkett Smith opting for a midriff-baring chainmail top and her husband wearing a lime-colored shirt underneath his black suit.

The “Matrix: Resurrections” actress often chooses extravagant accessories at awards shows, too. At the 2022 Critics Choice Awards, she debuted a custom Jacquie Aiche headpiece studded with 53 diamonds and worth a cool $46,250.
While she didn’t bring that level of bling to the Oscars, she definitely had the same “wow” factor.
