BetOnline has set the over-under on number of games played this season at 120.5, representing a cancellation of 41 or 42 games.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced Tuesday that the first two series of the season would be postponed. For the Detroit Tigers, that means a season-opening series at Seattle against the Mariners and a subsequent series against the Oakland Athletics have been wiped off the schedule.
The new Opening Day is set for April 8 at Comerica Park against the Chicago White Sox, but that would require owners and players to agree on a new collective bargaining agreement in a matter of days, something that seems unlikely.
BetOnline predicts the season is most likely to start in May (+175), June (+200) or July (+250). BetOnline considers an Opening Day in April (+550) even less likely than the cancellation of the entire season (+500).
MLB’s last work stoppage came in 1994 and led to the cancellation of the World Series and a delay of the 1995 season.
