TODAY:
30% Rain, Some PM Sun
HIGHS: 83 - 87
WINDS: SSE 8 - 16mph
A few spotty showers or a thunderstorm in the morning to midday. Later in the afternoon, some breaks of sun are possible and we'll watch to see if the "cap" of warmer air aloft is strong enough to prevent a late day thunderstorm from developing. I'll keep a very low end 20% rain chance in the evening forecast just in case cap weakens to let a storm pop up.
SATURDAY:
20% Rain, AM Clouds, PM Partly Sunny
HIGHS: 84 - 88
WINDS: SE 10 - 20mph
Cloudy in the morning with sprinkles or a few showers especially in western half of the area and into Hill Country. Later in the afternoon, rain chance is less than 10% with breaks of sun emerging from cloudiness. It'll be a windy day too.
SUNDAY:
50% AM Rain, PM Rain 30%
HIGHS: 80 - 84
WINDS: SE 7 - 14mph
A line or complex of storms will likely form out west around 1am - 2am then steadily move east through Sunday morning. There will be some risk of strong to severe storms in our area with strong gusts and maybe some hail. This line weakens into the afternoon with variably cloudy skies. Can't rule out a leftover shower or t-storm later in the day but should not be as active as the morning.
