How to See Who Follows You on Facebook

Find out who's following your public posts on Facebook

This wikiHow teaches you how to see a list of the people who follow your Facebook account's public posts. After enabling public followers on your account, you'll find your followers list on your profile in the menu that's below your cover photo.

Method 1 of 2:

Viewing Your Followers

  1. If you're using a phone or tablet, open the Facebook app by tapping the blue "f" icon in your app list. If you're using a computer, go to https://www.facebook.com and sign in to your account.
  2. This opens your profile.
  3. It's below the cover's bottom-right corner.[1] A menu will expand.
  4. This option is only visible if you have at least one non-friend follower. Selecting this option displays a list of all of your followers.

Enabling Public Following

  1. If you haven't allowed people who aren't your Facebook friends to follow you, you can do so by enabling Public followers. If you're using a phone or tablet, open the Facebook app by tapping the blue "f" icon in your app list. If you're using a computer, go to https://www.facebook.com and sign in to your account.
  2. Here's how to do it:
    • Android: Tap the three lines at the top-right corner, select Settings & Privacy, and then tap Settings.
    • iPhone/iPad: Tap the three lines at the bottom-right corner, tap Settings & Privacy, and then tap Settings.
    • Computer: Click the down-arrow at the top-right corner of the page, select Settings & Privacy, and then click Settings.
  3. You'll have to scroll down to find it on a phone, but it'll be a tab on the left side if you're using a computer.
  4. If you want to allow people to follow you without becoming Facebook friends, choose Public. This will give you a separate "Followers" list outside of your standard "Friends" list.
    • If you just want your friends to be able to follow you, select Friends.
    • Once someone follows you, you'll be able to view your followers list on your profile.
