Welcome back, Sheli! It is nice to see you here with another great question. I'll be happy to give you some options for transportation between Orlando International Airport and
Walt Disney World Resort.
Although there is not currently a free shuttle, there are companies that offer motorcoach shuttle service for a fee. Mears Transportation is a large company that operates taxis, limousine and car service, as well as the Mears Connect shuttle service. Mears has been transporting Guests to Walt Disney World Resort for many years. A new shuttle service, The Sunshine Flyer, recently began operating bus service between the airport and Walt Disney World Resort. A quick internet search for either company will lead you to their websites. Shuttle service departs from the ground transportation area located on Level 1 in Terminal B of the airport.
Many Guests opt for using a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft. Ride-share is popular and plentiful in the Orlando area and would provide you with direct service to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Private car service is another option. Check the Orlando International Airport website for "Vehicles for Hire" under "Ground Transport". Although I have not personally used this service, I know many of my panelist friends have used Happy Limo for airport transfers.
You might also consider renting a car. There are quite a few rental companies with vehicles on-site at the airport, making it very convenient to pick up a rental car. It is a quick 30-minute drive via highway to reach Walt Disney World Resort, and signage in the area makes it easy to find your way around.
I hope that helps! Please stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have. Enjoy your visit during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
