Tickets to Field of Dreams game between Kernels & River Bandits on sale Saturday

DYERSVILLE, Iowa — Tickets to the minor league Field of Dreams game in Dyersville go on sale to Iowa and Illinois residents on Saturday, July 2.

The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Quad Cities River Bandits play at the MLB field on August 9, two days before the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds play in the second MLB Field of Dreams game.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday and cost $85 a ticket for tip-up seats and $65 for bench style seating. Tickets are only available for fans with Iowa and Illinois zip codes.

Fans can buy up to eight tickets and two parking passes per order. They are available first come, first serve. Fans can buy tickets here.

The two teams will wear throwback uniforms during the game with the Kernels taking the Cedar Rapids Bunnies (their name from 1904-1932) name for the night and the River Bandits becoming the Davenport Blue Sox (their name during the 1913-1916, 1929-1933 and 1934-1937 seasons).
