GTA 5 Players Find Wild New Secret Years After Launch

It seems that GTA 5 players have discovered another big secret easter egg in the game, almost a decade after it came out.

GTA 5 has no shortage of fun easter eggs. There are a big number of references in there, like Thelma & Louise, Max Payne, and No Country for Old Men. Not to mention things like the frozen alien or the number of UFOs. But now, players have found a very secret easter egg that appears to be a reference to Liberty City (thanks Dexerto).

As shared by the Twitter account Rockstar Mag, YouTubers MrFraucheur and GamingBGK found the sneaky reference. In order to see it, players need to head to the Opium Nights Hotel near the airport while it’s dark. If you look at the glass on the far right, you might just notice a reflection that looks like the Liberty City skyline.

Again, GTA 5 has plenty of easter eggs, but this is absolutely one of the more secret ones. Weirdly though, this particular easter egg is absent in the new-gen version of the game. Rockstar Mag noted they could not see it on Performance, Performance RT, or the fidelity modes.

Why Rockstar would decide to remove it is unclear. But it could have something to do with the rumours that GTA Online is getting a Liberty City expansion. Which would mean the reflection would no longer make sense.
