The second round of The Masters 2022 is complete, and a number of high-profile names have failed to make the cut for the remainder of the weekend.

Adam Scott made par on the eighteenth to set the standard at four-over-par, securing his spot as one of 52 players who will advance with that score or better after 36 holes.

That means that the likes of Tiger Woods at +1 and Rory McIlroy at +2 are safe, but it’s World Number One Scottie Scheffler who looks set to be the man to beat. The American currently holds a five-shot lead after posting an impressive eight-under across his first two rounds.

Perhaps most eye-catching, however, were the smattering of big names who fell by the wayside on Friday.

Former champion Jordan Spieth crashed out at +6 after posting a final hole double-bogey, while four-time major winner Brooks Koepka posted consecutive rounds of 75 to bow out at six-over.

The 2020 US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau was cut at +12 as his comeback from injury continues, while Olympic gold medallist was unable to match his heroics in Tokyo and was ultimately three shots off the pace at +7 after making just one birdie in 36 holes.
