Six Ohio State players have been selected in the top five of the NFL draft since 2016, and 16 Buckeyes heard their name called in the first round during that time.

Ohio State has a rich history when it comes to sending players to the NFL, and this year will be no different.

Star wideouts Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave are set to hear their names called in the first round.

Pre-draft, Wilson was seen as a potential top-10 pick, while Olave was a lock to hear his name called by Thursday's end.

They ended up going back-to-back in the draft, with Wilson going No. 10 to the New York Jets and Olave landing with the New Orleans Saints at No. 11 following a trade with the Washington Commanders.

They aren't the only intriguing prospects, though. Offensive linemen Thayer Munford and Nick Petit-Frere helped protect quarterback C.J. Stroud, create running lanes for TreVeyon Henderson and establish Division I-FCS' top-scoring offense at 45.7 points per game.

Tight end Jeremy Ruckert, who was fourth among Buckeyes pass-catchers in receiving yards, was available in the draft pool too.

Petit-Frere and Ruckert both went in the third round to the Tennessee Titans and Jets, respectively. Munford went to the Las Vegas Raiders in the seventh round.

Ohio State looks ready to send a host of players yet again to the NFL after a Rose Bowl-winning season.

Here's a look at the full list of prospects who were either invited to the NFL Scouting Combine and/or attended Ohio State's Pro Day and where they ended up this year.
