If you've got the Xbox Game Pass, then you'll know the drill. It's not just Xbox users, even PC gamers can enjoy the Game Pass with some titles coming their way. The great thing about Game Pass? You don't just get a huge library of great games, you also get access to day one options, so you get to be one of the first to play the games.

Xbox Game Pass gets two new batches of games every month. We will keep this article updated with every new release for Xbox Game Pass, including all platforms and the release date. Down below in the article, you will also see the newest leaks and speculation regarding upcoming Game Pass releases. This time we have an absolute banger, as Far Cry 6 could come to Game Pass soon...

Xbox Game Pass Games August 2022 Revealed

The full announcement by Microsoft, where they reveal the whole batch of games in one big swoop, is not here yet, but e already know a bunch of games that will come this month! Let's check out what's coming to Xbox Game Pass in August:

All Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass in August

  • Ghost Recon Wildlands (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 2
  • Shenzhen I/O (PC) – August 4
  • Turbo Golf Racing (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 4
  • Two Point Campus (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 9
  • Cooking Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 11
  • Expeditions: Rome (PC) – August 11
  • Offworld Trading Company (PC) ID@Xbox – August 11

Have to admit, that this is a bit wack. If for some reason you still haven't played Ghost Recon Wildlands and are still interested in checking out, then this is great for you and I support you. Otherwise, there really isn't too much exciting stuff here. My personal favorite is Two Point Campus, which is a very cool and clever strategy game / business simulation. If you enjoy games like the developer's Two Point Hospital or games like Theme Hospital and Theme Park, then you should definitely check this one out.

A more promising game might come to Xbox Game Pass soon, as you can see here:

Which Games Are Removed From Xbox Game Pass This Month?

Of course, we will have to say goodbye to a few games as well. Five games will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass by August 15, so you'll have only a few more days to play them. Among them are not too many big highlights, but you should definitely check out the brilliant Curse of the Dead Gods while you still can.

Leaving August 15

  • Boyfriend Dungeon (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Curse of the Dead Gods (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Library of Ruina (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Starmancer (Game Preview) (PC)
  • Train Sim World 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Xbox Game Pass Leaks & Speculation

A new leak popped up, and it got us excited. Reddit user u/Fro3ZeN found Far Cry 6 in the Polish version of Xbox Game Pass, even though the game is not available in the service yet. They posted an image of this on reddit, which you can check out below.

Obviously, this should be taken with a grain of salt. This is just one reddit user posting a screenshot, which could be fake. But if it's real, it could indicate that the game will come to the service soon.

It does seem a bit odd, since the predecessor Far Cry 5 was just added to Xbox Game Pass in the last month. Also, as you can see above, Watch Dogs 2 will also come to Game Pass soon. So, another huge Ubisoft open-world game in there wouldn't be the most logical step. But hey, it could still happen! We'll keep an eye out and if Far Cry 6 does come to Game Pass, you will see it here first.
