Thanks to insight from Us Magazine, we have the scoop on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise!

Bachelor in Paradise New Host

It is official! Current host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Jesse Palmer is going to host the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Jesse Palmer is a former football player, whose recent career highlights include hosting The Bachelor and being named as the next host of The Bachelorette.

Back in 2020, the franchise’s host Chris Harrison faced controversy after allegedly defending Rachael Kirkconnell, a contestant on Matt Jame’s season and his now girlfriend. Between Rachael’s past actions and Harrison’s comments on the matter, fans were buzzing with allegations of racism.

Since then, ABC replaced Harrison as host of The Bachelor with Jesse Palmer, who is also going to host the upcoming seasons of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.

Jesse Palmer’s Bachelor Journey

Before becoming the host of The Bachelor, Palmer starred in season 5, so he is able to offer advice to current stars. Back in January 2022, Palmer told Us Weekly, “I said to [Clayton Echard] right from the beginning, ‘Hey man, if you ask for advice, I’ll totally be there to give it to you, but this is not about me.’”

Palmer also adds, “My journey is different from your journey, different from every other Bachelor that’s ever done this before, and this is unique to you and he’s gonna figure it out. And so the biggest pressure for me was just being there in the most truthful, sincere and best way to help Clayton get what he is looking for.”

Some of the most memorable moments from Jesse’s season of The Bachelor include him calling out the wrong name at a rose ceremony. In the ceremony, he mistakenly says the name Katie when he really means to say, Karen.

Wells Adams Returns to Paradise

Before naming Jesse Palmer as the new host of Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor Nation fans wanted to see fan-favorite Wells Adams take the role. Thankfully, Wells is going to return to the beach this summer and once again fill the role of bartender.

In the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise, Wells acted not only as the bartender but as a sort of “Master of Ceremonies” by hosting the rose ceremonies.

Wells Adams’ Bachelor Nation History

Unlike Jesse Palmer, Wells does not have a history of starring in his own season of The Bachelor. Instead, he appeared as a contestant on the 12th season of The Bachelorette, starring JoJo Fletcher.

Then, he joined the case of season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. After not finding love on either season, Wells became the bartender, which is a role he has filled for seasons 4, 5, 6, and the upcoming season 7.

Wells has found love outside of Bachelor Nation with Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland.
