Is it illegal to screenshot a snapchat story that was available to all the people that was her friends?
My brother told me that he had took a screenshot of a girl in a bra on a beach that was on her story (they are both underage). He told me he sent the picture to a group chat of 8. My brother said that a person in the chat told her. the girl said it was illegal and she was going to file a police report with his address and name.
Answer
It's copyright infringement, since he didn't own the photo. That's CIVIL liability, for money damages.
It may also be the CRIMES of child pornography possession and distribution (though same goes for the girl herself if it's a selfie), plus "revenge porn."
