So I woke up this morning to find I had been logged out of both of my Gmail accounts on my Samsung Galaxy S6 and 2 triangles with exclamation marks on the notifications bar which state Account Action Required had appeared.

I have tried to log back in to both Gmail accounts on my phone numerous times with the correct password ( I have checked by logging in on my desktop computer).

It accepts the password...
Then message appears 'Checking Info'...
Then message appears: 'You were signed out of your Google account. Sign in again to continue'

This then happens over and over again.

Driving me nuts...cant access Gmail or any associated google apps on phone. Any help much appreciated.

Hi , go to recovery menu and wipe cache partition to do that , turn off your device , now press and hold Vol +, Home button and power button for about 6 second . Once you feel vibration release just power key and once you see recovery android logo release all buttons , now with vol - navigate to Wipe cache partition and confirm with one time pressing power button. Now once that is finished go to reboot now and one time press power button . :)

Thanks - I have tried wiping cache partition but unfortunately does not seem to work. Any other suggestions?

I'm having the same issue and a dalvik cache wipe doesn't resolve it, any other suggestions? Thx..

Hi , you can try this :
Go to phone Settings ,
Application or Apps now open each app and
Clear cache -data
- Google
- Google Play Services
- Google +
- Play Store
- Gmail
- YouTube
Once you do that remove your connected wifi network or disable mobile data and reboot your device.
Now connect on your wifi network , open Play Store and put there your account, if you are done with that open Play Store and update all that apps above.

Hope this will solve your problem if not Reset App Preferences to do that go to Settings , Apps and now tap at the top-right corner of the screen and tap on Reset App Preferences. Once you do that Reboot your device and try . Good Luck :)

Thanks Teddy Lo. I managed to fix it with a combination of your last response and initially deleting my Google Account and readding at the end of the process.
Appreciate the help!
