What do you mean by multiple tabs? If you sync your FB account with Instagram, there are no two different tabs. Your FB account just works inside Instagram.
I have same problem i dont see any contacts from my facebook or phone contacts on instagram. I do not see multiple tabs option either. Find your friends from facebook and contacts has been removed.
