Meet The Cast Of 'Celebrity Big Brother' 2022: Housewives, Olympians, Singers, And More
These famous houseguests are ready to make some serious waves.
After a three-year hiatus, Celebrity Big Brother is back! A brand new group of houseguests is about to take over—and if you thought Big Brother was dramatic, just wait until the celebs arrive. Season 3 stars some seriously famous faces, from Housewives (both current and former) to Olympians, and everyone in between. And, host Julie Chen Moonves is back to keep them all in line.
This season will be spread out over 15 episodes, which will air on CBS starting on Feb. 2. But since it's been forever (it def feels like it!) since the last season, here's a quick refresher on how the show works:
Celebrity Big Brother follows a group of famous contestants who are all stuck in the same "house," a.k.a. TV show set, together. They're totally cut off from the outside world—that means no screens or Internet—and they're under video surveillance 24/7. Throughout the season, celebs will battle it out in competitions and periodically vote one member out of the house to be eliminated. At the end, the last person standing is the winner.
And, in a twist that's different from regular Big Brother, eliminated celebs will become part of the jury. The jury ultimately decides who wins the season, once the show gets down to the final few contestants.
Ready to dive into season 3? Meet all eleven celebrities who are competing this time around (and refresh your memory on where you saw them last!).
Cynthia Bailey
Cynthia Bailey, 54, has starred in The Real Housewives of Atlanta since 2010. Her co-star, Kandi Burruss-Tucker, played in the last Celebrity Big Brother season—and this time, she's ready to bring the crown home for Atlanta.
Her strategy: "I don't plan on really throwing a competition, to be honest, because I don't think I'm going to have to. I genuinely don't think I'm gonna be that great at a lot of the competitions anyway," Cynthia told Us Weekly.
Carson Kressley
Carson Kressley, 52, is an actor and fashion designer. He's best known for his role on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy in the early 2000s, but today he's a frequent judge on RuPaul's Drag Race. His co-judge, Ross Mathews, played in an old Celebrity Big Brother season, and Carson says Ross' BB skills are his inspiration.
His strategy: "Alliances on Big Brother get very tricky because, you know, you just never know if they're legit. But, alliance partners … I’ve worked with so many people in Hollywood. I'm thinking I'm going to know some of these people when I get in there. And I'm just gonna look for alliances with people I already know because I know how they roll."
Miesha "Cupcake" Tate
Miesha Tate is a 35-year-old, championship-winning mixed martial artist. She's totally new to Big Brother, but she's ready to bring her A-game this season.
Her strategy: "I watched zero Big Brother before casting. My expectations going into the show are to be ready to adapt. I know that it's the show slogan to 'expect the unexpected.' And I think that is for a reason."
Teddi Mellencamp
Teddi Mellencamp, 40, starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2017 to 2021. She's had her fair share of drama on the show—so Celebrity Big Brother should be a piece of cake, right?
Her strategy: "I feel like when you meet a true friend slash alliance, it feels effortless. You know right away that that is your person. I am hoping there is at least just one person in that house that I feel that exact way about, and feels the same way about me. I'll just get that natural feeling of just if that is somebody I could imagine spending my time with. I'm not a great person with just small talk and faking it. So, I absolutely feel like when I talk to my person, I'll know," Teddi shared with Us Weekly.
Lamar Odom
Lamar Odom, 42, is a former professional basketball player who was married to Khloé Kardashian for almost ten years. He's confident that his competitive spirit will push him through to the end.
His strategy: "Would I ever throw a competition? No. Since I've been 8 or 9 years old, I've been always playing a sport. I never see myself losing on purpose. It’s against everything, who I am."
Shanna Moakler
Shanna Moakler, 46, is an actress, a model, and a reality TV star. She's best known for her time as Miss USA in 1995. A self-proclaimed Big Brother "superfan," she's using her knowledge of the game to win.
Her strategy: "I think the hardest part of the game for me is going to be the physical competitions. However, I'm really great at puzzles and mind games. So, that's where I'm gonna be strong, but it's the physical ones I'm worried about."
Chris Kattan
Chris Kattan, 51, was a cast member on Saturday Night Live in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He's hoping his quick wit and some genuine connections with the other houseguests will get him to the finale.
His strategy: "I probably wouldn't really ever throw a competition because . . . unless someone asked me to and they thought that was the best thing to do at the moment," Chris told Us Weekly.
Mirai Nagasu
Mirai Nagasu is a 28-year-old figure skater. In 2018, she became the first American ladies' single skater (and the third woman ever) to land a triple axel at the Olympics. She definitely has the drive to win—making her a strong contender this season.
Her strategy: "I think the social game will be the hardest for me because I'm used to being alone. I'm used to skating and competing by myself. So, the fact that I'll have to communicate what I'm going through, communicate my game strategy to my alliances, I think that'll be so difficult for me. But at the same time, I was asked earlier whether I would pick strategy master or social butterfly, and I picked social butterfly because I think that's more important because with strategy… I don't know. I feel like I might get luckier if I'm the social butterfly."
Todrick Hall
Todrick Hall, 36, is a singer, songwriter, choreographer, and influencer. He's no stranger to competitive TV shows (he made it to the American Idol semi-finals in 2010), which could give him the edge he needs to win.
His strategy: "The main qualities I would look for in an alliance partner is somebody who proves themselves to be loyal. I think a lot of ways people prove themselves to be loyal is not when they're with you. It's the things that they do when you're not looking. It's the things that they say behind other people's backs that let you know where their loyalty really lies. I think loyalty is one of the most beautiful things in the world," Todrick shared with Us Weekly.
Todd Bridges
Todd Bridges, 56, is an actor who's known for his starring roles in Diff'rent Strokes and Everybody Hates Chris. Admittedly, he's not much of a people person, but he's ready to do what he needs to do to get ahead.
His strategy: "I would never throw a competition. That's not me. I mean, I'll lose. I'm a good loser and I'm a gracious winner, but I ain't gonna throw anything."
Chris Kirkpatrick
Chris Kirkpatrick, 50, is a singer and actor—but his biggest claim to fame is being a member of *NSYNC. He's hoping the connections he makes in the house will put him ahead of the rest.
His strategy: "I think the hardest part of the game is gonna be strategy because you really have to think so many moves ahead, and there's so much luck involved with each challenge, and each time you win or lose, you have to kind of reshuffle everything and rethink it. So, that's gonna be the hardest. Social game should be pretty easy. The challenges are gonna be tough but fun, so we'll see."
